Semavi Eyice’nin eşi Kamuran Eyice 20 Mayıs 2016 tarihinde vefat etmiştir.
Cenazesi bugün Bostancı Kuloğlu camiin’de kılındıktan sonra Karacaahmet mezarlığına defnedilmiştir.
